Life and Living

What are the benefits of exploring the art of living?

It’s the ability to reestablish our health, vitality, or just feeling of well-being. It’s knowing how to take care of ourselves when we’re feeling low, out-of-sorts or perhaps just plain old tired.

  • I know the restorative power of time in nature
  • I know the restorative powers of collecting found objects from nature
  • I know the restorative powers of making things with my hands
  • I know how good it feels when I allow myself to practice the things that take care of myself. (Even when I feel guilty for doing so.)

But sometimes when I get busy, when life catches up, I lose my way. I get wound up in my doing and accomplishing that I find myself exhausted and depleted. This still happens to me, and I can get frustrated with myself, or short with others.

How can I continually forget to make time for what nurtures, sustains and restores me?

Whether it’s a multi day vision journey in the woods of northern Michigan, a group kayak water ceremony, or a guided rites of passage ceremony honoring a life transition, together we can create an experience that can help you live and die in right relation to your dreams.

Conscious Living

What is undone in your life that needs your reflection and attention? This workshop invites you to dive deep into those unlived places within yourself and consciously choose to let them die or bring them to life.

Walking into Wisdom

Encounter your true self solo or with a group through a sunrise to sunset solo day hike and nature immersion.

Preparing for Dying While We Live

To do this work, we will reflect on hospice teaching. How do we learn to live our lives without being weighed down by a lifetime of wounding, anger, and regret.
