Art and Nature
“We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we’ve lost our connection to ourselves.”
– Andy Goldsworthy
How often do we feel the need for deeper connections in our lives?
Simply noticing our awareness of nature helps ground us.
From there we begin to engage in conversation with the elemental forces of existence and when we listen to the rhythms and stories of nature we develop deeper relationships that teach us profound new ways to change course.
To let go. To live and to die.
Nature Mandalas
Grief is like the water of a river – capable at times of “flooding us”. Grief rituals can be seen as sturdy river banks.
Living in Right Relation
In this three day workshop we will explore how the interconnectedness of all beings centers our responsibility and reciprocity in relations.
Preparing for Dying While We Live
To do this work, we will reflect on hospice teaching. How do we learn to live our lives without being weighed down by a lifetime of wounding, anger, and regret.
